London's autumn events calendar is splitting between two very different crowds this year, and both are drawing strong ticket demand.
On October 18, 2026, the NFL returns to Wembley Stadium for its annual London fixture, with the Houston Texans facing the Jacksonville Jaguars in front of what has historically been one of the league's most enthusiastic international crowds. Wembley has hosted NFL London games for over a decade, and the fixture remains one of the city's biggest single-day sporting draws each autumn.
A few miles away, the Palace Theatre continues its long-running production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2, with multiple performances scheduled across the week — including matinee and evening slots on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus a condensed one-part version on select dates such as October 9. The production remains one of the West End's most consistently booked shows years into its run.
