Bucharest's fall events calendar is shaping up to be one of the more genre-diverse stretches the city has seen in a while, spanning intimate club shows, a touring metalcore act, and a full symphonic evening.
It starts small and acoustic: Madalina Paval plays an acoustic set at Quantic on September 20, followed a week later by Blackbriar's A Thousand Little Deaths Tour at the same venue on September 27 — a considerably heavier bill for the same stage within days.
In between, Intalnirea Bobocilor Bucuresteni, a charity festival, takes place on September 26, bringing a community-driven event into the mix.
October opens with MADRIGAL's "Drumul Mătăsii" at the Aula Magna of Universitatea Politehnica on October 3, followed the next day by the family-friendly "Apolodor — un pinguin călător" at Circul Metropolitan Bucuresti. The season's more classical stretch closes out with 3 Tenori Ieseni at Sala Palatului on October 7, one of the city's largest and most established concert halls.
