October turns London into one of the busiest event calendars in Europe, mixing arena concerts, a major film festival, an international art fair and three NFL games in a single month.
Music & Concerts
The O2 Arena carries most of the month's biggest shows. Niall Horan opens with his Dinner Party: Live On Tour on October 2β3, followed by The Strokes on October 6β7. Westlife then play three consecutive nights, October 9β11, as part of their 25th Anniversary World Tour, and Duran Duran close the month with a Halloween special show on October 31.
Festivals
The 70th BFI London Film Festival runs October 7β18 across venues including BFI Southbank and Leicester Square. Frieze London and Frieze Masters take over The Regent's Park October 14β18, and the Bloomsbury Festival and Diwali on the Square at Trafalgar Square add to the month's cultural calendar.
Sports
Three NFL London Games land this October: Colts vs. Commanders (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, October 4), Eagles vs. Jaguars (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, October 11), and Jaguars vs. Texans (Wembley Stadium, October 18).
Theatre & Arts
West End highlights include Puccini's Tosca at the London Coliseum, Jesus Christ Superstar at the Theatre Royal, Derren Brown at the Apollo Theatre, and over 200 shows across South London as part of The Lambeth Fringe.
Dates, prices and new listings added throughout the month are kept current on the Loocofest London events page. For the same month elsewhere in Europe, see what's on in Paris and Berlin.
